It's crazy that they use a bull instead of a junkyard dog to guard the place. I mean, its a good idea on the surface. I just wish that they'd pen it up during the day. I made the mistake of wearing a red shirt up there today and still haven't caught my breath from all the running…
Took your own tools in and a wagon in to bring stuff out that you got. The guy is really nice and he try to give you the best price for the things.
This is a good local junkyard. The few times I've been there the staff was friendly and the prices were fair. I look forward to returning there this week to look for a engine for a project of mine.
Though it was a bit of a drive to get to, I saved about half the price on a stock OEM chevy aluminum rim that I purchased from Taurus Recycling than what the local nearby auto salvage yard wanted to charge for the same rim.
We were treated great! And was helped to unload our trailer. They staff was so nice and funny too… Thanks for your hospitality and laughs!!
