These folks are extremely fair and honest. I went to pick up a part and had a conversation with the gentleman at the front and just based on his interactions with me and the people on the phone it looks like he knew what he was talking about and is actually looking out for the customer. I would drive 1 1/2 to get my parts exclusively from them if it meant I didn't have to deal with any of the salvage yards in Rhode Isalnd ever again.
Seems like they are running on a skeleton crew and they always manage to get the job done with quality parts and great and competitive prices. I recommend Sid's to anyone trying to repair a vehicle on a limited budget.

Bought a used engine from them, after cleaning it they were oil leaks from the head gasket and a lot of rust. It would cost more to rebuild the engine than me actually buying a remanufactured engine. They claimed it came from a vehicle that just drove in and will take about 3 days for them to remove it. The engine wasn't what they described and looked like it was sitting in their “shed” for years. They refused to refund my money or take back the engine back. I'm sorry I picked it up, they were so nice during the sale, that I didn't think they would rip me off, my naivetes. I took a day off, rented a truck, and drove 2.5 hours to pick it up thinking I got a good deal.
