Ok. Not real sure where to begin this review, but I’ll start from the first visit I guess.
My first time in this store, I was looking at what they had to offer for a service truck in my fleet and also looking for a place to do all of my upcoming fleet truck setups. I’m the kind of business owner that once I find someone I like, I’m loyal to that company / business owner. My first visit, I was impressed. The salesman (don’t remember his name) seemed very knowledgeable on all the products they had in stock along with all the installation requirements and costs. That was refreshing as I had been to three other stores that same day and the salesman at the front counter of the other stores could not give me the answers I was looking for like this place did.
First fleet truck I purchased (my fleet has been mainly van’s until this truck) was here recently in or about April or May. I financed in several thousand in funds for a work camper and other additions to the truck.
When I first met the owner, Donnie, I was a little taken back. I couldn’t tell if he seemed grumpy because he was busy or grumpy because, well just because. After I got to know him a little bit more, I realized two things. One, he will tell you the truth and how it is. He’s a very straight forward guy (in a good way), and two, he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet should you have the privilege to get to know the man even a little. He knows more about vehicle accessories, installations, etc., than any vehicle accessories store I’ve ever been too (and trust me, I’ve been to a lot owning a fleet of vehicles for my service company). You may come into the store with an idea of a brand of something you want, and if there is one that’s better quality and cheaper, he will show you that option without you even asking him. He did this with me on a brush guard and ultimately saved me about $300.00, not to mention I got a better product as well.
The staff and installation crew working for the store are pretty amazing people. They don’t cut corners or rig stuff. They install it correctly and ensure their craftsmanship is perfect, which unfortunately in todays market, that’s rare.
My overall impression of the owner, Donnie, and his staff are by far 5+ Star quality. I will be buying numerous fleet trucks over the next couple of years and every single vehicle I get will go to Donnie’s shop for the add-ons. I don’t care if another shop offers me a 50% discount and gives me a full truck set up free of charge, I wouldn’t take it. Donnie is who I will purchase all of my truck additions for my service fleet from now until the day he retires (or kicks me to the curb because I always need me stuff done yesterday, LOL). Thats the joys of running a business though, everything needs to get done and get done yesterday.
In Summary, don’t waste your time going to another accessories dealer. Your only going to get the best quality and selection from Pickup Truck Accessories Warehouse, hands down 5 Star ALL DAY LONG. Go there. Buy there. You won’t leave disappointed.
