Drove into the valley for a hard to find car part
Walked into a cool and welcoming lobby of the LA Dismantlers
They were super helpful even though the needed part was out of stock
Staff wasn't shy in recommending other nearby shops that might carry it.
Although I wish I could've skipped the other Porsche part shop and saved myself from the awkward “Pride”, I was happy to check out all my options before driving back to the Westside.

I was able to get a used convertible top from LAPD at a great price and it fit my 2001 Boxster perfectly. The condition was perfect considering the age and was a real upgrade from my stock top. All communications with the team were great and they sent me the top within a few days. I will definitely use them in the future for Porsche parts.

The crew at LA dismantler are so awesome. Crystal helped me locate the right parts and even called around for me when I needed an engine rebuild. Esteban was super cool in letting me see some examples of future parts. Ida, Raxell, & Andy, were all super friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to visit with. Trust me, it's worth your time to stop by and see if they can give you what you need. Make sure to bring snacks, jk, but you should!

The price was the lowest I found. The control module didn't work the first time. Very friendly after sale service, replacement device ready before I arrived. The original Porsche OEM part new is $2000, got from them for less than $50. Some where you can trust!
