I've been selling scrap copper wire and batteries for decades. This has to be the cleanest scrap yard I've ever been to! I didn't feel like I was going to risk a flat tire by pulling onto there lot.

First time trading here. The place is very clean and seems to run well but not sure if the guys know the difference between different copper wire. Traded cat5/cat6 cabling and 18/2 control wire. By definition is #2 insulated, ( #2 grade insulated copper consists of unalloyed wire – thinner than 16 gauge – which includes heavy, double or plastic insulation. The grade generally covers many common types of telecommunications wiring as well as electronics such as outlet and extension cords.) They call it #3. That's a $.20 a pound difference. they either dont know, or knowingly cheated me.

They have a pretty nice yard not a lot of stuff laying around to puncher tires and the customer service is decent.I've noticed a considerable difference in the price they pay compared to other recyclers in the area. Very low!
