– Search through inventory

– Get dirty or injured during removal
This convenient approach makes A & Z Auto Parts accessible to both experienced mechanics and everyday car owners looking for affordable repair options.
Vehicle Purchasing Program
A & Z Auto Parts buys used cars from the general public, helping Orlando residents dispose of unwanted vehicles while adding to their inventory. While specific “cash for cars” programs aren’t explicitly detailed, they do purchase vehicles from various sources including “ordinary people” before processing them for parts.
If you’re interested in selling your junk car for cash rather than letting it deteriorate in your driveway, A & Z Auto Parts offers a viable option for Orlando residents.
Vehicle Types Available
A & Z Auto Parts and Export maintains a diverse inventory of both cars and trucks, with early and late model vehicles regularly added to their stock. While specific makes and models aren’t comprehensively listed in available information, their inventory encompasses a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, including Infiniti models.
The yard continually refreshes its inventory through strategic acquisitions from:
– Insurance auctions
– Private sellers
– Other vehicle sources
With their professional extraction service, customers don’t need to worry about vehicle location or part removal—simply request the part you need, and the team at A & Z will handle the rest.

Warranty Information
When purchasing used auto parts from A & Z Auto Parts and Export in Orlando, warranty details are limited in available information. Based on customer reviews and industry standards, here’s what you should know:
Warranty Framework
While specific warranty duration isn’t explicitly documented, customer feedback suggests A & Z may operate with a store credit policy for returns rather than cash refunds. This approach is common among salvage yards, where parts are sold “as-is” with limited guarantees.
For comparison, some industry competitors like All-Import.com offer 90-day standard warranties with extended options available, though these terms don’t necessarily reflect A & Z’s specific policies.
Return & Refund Considerations
Customer experiences indicate potential challenges with obtaining cash refunds, with returns possibly resulting in store credit instead. When dealing with any auto salvage yard, including A & Z Auto Parts, consider:
– Documentation requirements: Keep your receipt and any markings on purchased parts
– Testing period: Test parts promptly after purchase when possible
– Restocking fees: May apply for returned items
For precise warranty information, direct contact with A & Z Auto Parts via phone (407–601–5936) or in-person visit is recommended before making significant purchases.
Entry Fee
A & Z Auto Parts and Export does not charge an entry fee to access their facility. Unlike self-service “u-pull-it” junkyards that typically charge a cover fee for yard access, A & Z operates as a full-service auto salvage yard where staff retrieves parts for customers.
While specific discounts aren’t explicitly mentioned in available information, customer reviews note the yard’s competitive pricing on used parts, with examples like a $40 starter motor representing the value offered. Their business model focuses on professional service and convenience rather than entry fees and self-service options.
Hours of Operation
A & Z Auto Parts and Export maintains consistent operating hours throughout the week:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday: Closed
The business is open six days a week, with reduced hours on Saturday and complete closure on Sunday. For weekend visits, customers should plan accordingly for the shorter Saturday hours and note that Sunday visits aren’t possible. For inquiries, customers can contact the business at +1 407–601–5936.
Tools and Equipment Needed
When visiting A & Z Auto Parts & Export, customers should understand what tools to bring for successful part retrieval. Since A & Z operates as a full-service yard where staff removes parts for you, extensive tool requirements are minimized. However, for comparison with self-service junkyards, here’s what’s typically needed:
Essential Tools for Self-Service Yards
If you visit other Orlando junkyards that require self-service, bring these basic tools:
– Socket set (metric and SAE) for various fasteners
– Torque wrench or breaker bar for stubborn bolts
– Wrenches (adjustable, open-end, and box-end)
– Pliers (locking, needle-nose) for gripping cables
– Pry bars for panel removal

A & Z’s Advantage
The primary benefit of A & Z Auto Parts’ business model is that you don’t need to bring your own tools. Their professional staff handles the part removal process, eliminating the need for customers to purchase, transport, and use specialized tools. This service-oriented approach makes buying used auto parts accessible to everyone, regardless of mechanical experience or tool ownership.
For those interested in finding reliable used starters or other electrical parts, A & Z’s professional removal service ensures proper handling and testing before purchase.
Cash for Junk Cars
A & Z Auto Parts and Export in Orlando does buy junk cars from the general public as part of their inventory acquisition strategy. The business explicitly states they purchase used vehicles from “auctions, insurance companies, and ordinary people” before processing them for parts.
While specific “cash for junk cars” programs aren’t explicitly detailed in available information, standard industry practice suggests they likely offer cash payments, particularly when providing car removal services with free towing.
Regarding vehicle condition acceptance, A & Z’s focus on sourcing vehicles from diverse channels—including insurance companies that often handle totaled vehicles—suggests they evaluate cars in various states of disrepair. Their professional car removal service further supports this conclusion.
For those looking to sell unwanted vehicles in Orlando, A & Z Auto Parts offers a viable option with their established purchasing program. For immediate confirmation of current buying policies and prices, contact them directly at +1 (407) 601–5936 during business hours (Monday-Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM).

Interchange System
A & Z Auto Parts and Export in Orlando provides a professional pull service rather than a traditional self-service model or online interchange system. Here’s how they help customers find compatible parts:
Inventory Management
The salvage yard maintains an extensive collection of hundreds of early and late-model vehicles, continuously updated with additions from auctions, insurance companies, and public sales. While they don’t explicitly mention an auto parts interchange database, their professional staff assists customers by:
– Professionally extracting parts from vehicles
– Processing vehicles before inventorying parts
– Managing a diverse inventory including domestic and foreign models
Customer Assistance Process
Rather than navigating a computerized interchange system themselves, customers at A & Z can:
1. Contact the business via phone (+1 407–601–5936) or visit in person
2. Request specific parts for their vehicle
3. Allow staff to identify compatible options from their inventory
4. Receive professionally removed parts without the effort of searching and removing them
This high-touch service model eliminates the need for customers to understand interchange numbers or compatibility charts, as the knowledgeable staff handles this aspect of the process.
For customers looking for quality used auto parts, this concierge-style approach offers convenience without requiring technical expertise.

Common Questions About A & Z Auto Parts
1. What is involved in selling a car to A & Z Auto Parts and Export?
The process typically involves a salvage yard assessment of your vehicle’s scrap metal value and usable parts (engines, wheels, electronics). They may offer compensation based on these factors, and some provide towing services to avoid transportation costs. It’s advisable to call ahead to confirm they buy vehicles and compare quotes, as prices vary widely (from $50 to $300 based on location and condition).
2. How easy is it to buy parts from a salvage yard like A & Z Auto Parts?
A & Z offers an extensive inventory of domestic and foreign vehicle parts, professionally pulled on-site. While selection depends on recent acquisitions, staff can typically locate parts via networks of other salvage providers if they’re unavailable locally. This professional service makes finding quality used auto parts much simpler than at self-service yards.
3. Do salvage yards like A & Z Auto Parts buy all types of vehicles?
While policies vary, most salvage yards accept a wide range of vehicles, including non-running, collision-damaged, or mechanically failed cars. A & Z explicitly mentions buying from “ordinary people” alongside auctions and insurance companies, suggesting they accept various vehicle types.
4. How much can I expect to pay for used parts compared to new ones?
Used parts from salvage yards often cost 40% less than new equivalents, though savings can range widely. Prices depend on the part’s condition, rarity, and demand. For example, a fuel pump or engine may be significantly cheaper, while less common parts might see smaller discounts.
5. What if the salvage yard doesn’t have the part I need?
Salvage yards typically maintain networks to locate hard-to-find parts from other facilities. This may incur additional costs or delays (a few days for shipping), but buyers still benefit from salvage pricing compared to new OEM parts.
6. Are parts from salvage yards like A & Z Auto Parts guaranteed or warranted?
Some reputable yards offer warranties (e.g., 90-day guarantees) on parts, though coverage varies by location and policy. Always inquire about return or replacement policies before purchasing significant parts like transmissions or engines.
7. How do salvage yards contribute to environmental sustainability?
Salvage yards recycle metals and reusable materials, reducing the need for mining and energy-intensive new production. Approximately 60% of metal in new vehicles is recycled, minimizing waste and resource depletion. Crushing and recycling remaining materials further supports sustainable practices in the automotive industry.

This company does not even know what they are selling. They have outside people trying to sell for them and have absolutely no idea what they are doing. They will tell you the owner will return your call, and they won’t. They sold me a part and told me it would fit my year car. I get home, which is an hour away, we trying to put the part on and it doesn’t fit. They are dishonest money hungry people. They told me no returns and parts sold as is. Well when it’s at least a part that is for the same year car, I could understand. I have a 2002, the part is for a 2006! That’s a big difference and they won’t even return my phone call. The customer service is horrible. They will lie to you just to get what they want and get you away. They run a junk yard because they wouldn’t survive running an actual business that isn’t junk!

I run a small dealership close by, like this place cuz they pull the parts, works well for me since I am fairly lazy and don't want to do the hard work. Price are similar to other place that offer full service. But if price is a concern, it will be cheaper going to the diy yards.

Not what I expected at all. I'm used to going to Pull-N-Pay Orlando, but I just needed a simple, easy to get to 1-wire Horn Connector for a 2005 Honda Civic. Essentially every Honda civic, accord, etc, take the same style simple, 1-Wire round plug/connector. I literally saw two horns with wiring and connectors sitting right at the entrance on a totaled Honda Civic/Accord. It's one of the easiest parts to, especially when the bumper cover/fascia is already removed from vehicle. Literally would have had cut ONE wire and unplug it from the horn. So aside from requiring some dikes/wire cutters, I could have grabbed it myself, without even entering the yard and there were TWO horns on the car. I gave them an extra 1 star for referring me to another local auto salvage yard on my way home. B & T Used Auto Parts, which upon arrival, just said my boss won't sell you a Connector. It's a one wire connector… if a vehicle is already totaled with front end damage, I would almost guarantee that the headlight assembly and connectors, AC Receiver/Drier connector, etc would be broken already on the left engine wiring harness branch. So, why not sell the single wire horn connector that's at the end of the left branch, the very end. Aside from that car having two horns, you could just as easily just cut one out of circuit, because they share the exact same wire, literally. Snip one, leave other, Done deal. This is why I don't do local salvage yard or used parts. I'll drive all the way to Jet Stream Drive, for one ridiculous connector.

I called 12 other locations looking for help with a tire, good tread obviously, mounted on a rim, to use as a spare, on an upcoming trip out of state. Amira & associates went above-and-beyond in two days looking for the rim and a tire for me (& MADE IT HAPPEN). She is so kind, as is everyone else when I arrived. They gave me an excellent deal and she kept me up on everything as she was searching. I can't thank them enough for the exceptional customer service I received!! Thanks again Amira.. stay awesome!!
