Overview

Concord Auto Dismantlers at 2211 Arnold Industrial Way, Concord, CA 94520

Concord Auto Dismantlers is a self-service auto salvage yard at 2211 Arnold Industrial Way in Concord. Since 1960, the yard has supplied used auto parts to mechanics, dealerships, and private customers. Customers can browse the yard themselves during business hours—no appointment needed. Parts are sold cash-and-carry, meaning you pay on-site after selecting what you need.

Services & What to Expect

Concord Auto Dismantlers is a self-service yard where customers find and remove their own parts. The yard is open to the public during business hours, but no tools are provided. Bring your own wrenches, sockets, and pry bars to take parts off vehicles. There’s no online inventory, so you’ll need to visit in person to see what’s available.

The yard focuses on late-model vehicles, so you’re more likely to find parts for newer cars and trucks. Common items include engines, transmissions, body panels, interior components, and mechanical parts. Availability changes daily as vehicles are dismantled, so check back often. Parts are sold as-is—no warranties, so inspect them carefully before buying.

If you have a junk car to sell, Concord Auto Dismantlers may take it for dismantling. While they don’t advertise buying junk cars, many salvage yards do. For a quick offer, check local cash-for-cars services instead.

What to Bring

  • Cash or a debit/credit card (payment types may vary)
  • Tools for removing parts (wrenches, sockets, pry bars)
  • A vehicle to haul parts away
  • ID or proof of purchase if required

Walked in to buy parts, and the whole place felt like a ghost town. Sign on the door said “call before you come”—what’s the point of that? Prices were insane, way higher than new parts. Nobody even bothered to talk to me. If this is how they treat customers, I’d rather take my business somewhere that actually wants it. ---

Been coming here for two decades now, and they’ve never let me down—not once. Need a part for my tow rig? They’ve got it, and it’s always the right one the first time. No junk, no guesswork, just solid parts that do the job. After 20 years of dealing with them, I’d say that’s pretty solid proof they know what they’re doing. Thanks for keeping it simple and reliable all these years. ---

Gus came through for us big time. We needed an NLA rear axle for a late ‘90s Mercedes, and he dug one up fast—good condition, no hassle. Had it at our shop the same day. Fast, no-nonsense service when it counts. ---

Do not waste your money or time here. We ordered an engine, and it arrived completely seized—useless. When we called them out on it, they didn’t even blink. Refused to cover the return shipping, made us eat the cost of sending it back, and still wouldn’t refund the initial shipping. They knew the engine was bad, but that didn’t matter to them. Their whole operation feels like a scam, and their customer service is nonexistent. If you don’t want to get ripped off, go somewhere else. ---

After 20 years in auto body work, I’ve seen a lot of junkyards come and go. But Gus and Brian at Concord Auto Dismantler’s? They’re the real deal. Every time I call, they’ve got the parts I need—good quality, no excuses. I don’t even bother looking elsewhere anymore. If you’re serious about recycled parts, start here. They’ve earned my trust, and that’s not easy to do.
