Know your prices before you go. I have had a good experience the first time, so the next time I went in I just automatically set in to business. Unfortunately the money lady low balled by 2/3 what the payment should be. This didn't really bother me so bad. The offense occurred when the lady went totally “mental” as I tried to negotiate. Nothing doing I gave her the check and got my scrap!

We all here for the money and this place is not worth my time. Not coming back here
If you need to get rid of metallic objects, it's far better to have someone pay you for them than to pay to put them in the dump. It's not a ton of money, but still better than paying
Nicest people in the scrap business. They will help you unload your trucks and train you how to separate metal to make more money. They don't have to do this and because they do, that makes them my preferred vendor.
