This is the only scrap yard around here that doesn’t feel like a dump—literally. The place is clean, the staff actually knows how to talk to people without acting like they’re doing you a favor, and they don’t pull that shady "maybe they’re hiding something" vibe the other four yards near me do. I never leave there wondering if I just got ripped off, which is more than I can say for the rest. ---

Honestly, the place is way nicer than most junkyards I’ve been to—the lot’s actually paved and everything’s organized. The guys working there are super easy to talk to, which is a nice change. The only downside? I swear they lowball you compared to other yards. And if you bring in cans, they’ll hit you with some water weight fee. Still, I keep coming back because the other place is a total mess, and at least here I don’t feel like I’m wading through a swamp just to sell my scrap. ---

The people here are great, and they move fast—*unless* you show up between 12 and 12:30, because apparently that’s sacred lunch hour. Now that I know their schedule, I just plan around it. And hey, once lunch is over? They’re right back at it, scales open, no wasted time. Can’t ask for much more than that. ---

Used to be the go-to spot for can prices, but now? They switched to some new weighing system that’s straight-up robbery. We weighed our cans on *their* scales before handing them over, and the difference was insane. We drive two hours just to sell there, and for what? To get screwed? Hard pass. If you’re bringing cans, go somewhere else. Businesses don’t stay open by treating customers like ATMs. ---

They told me to come before 4, so I showed up at 3:45—only to get the runaround. The lady said she’d check, then they just dragged their feet until 3:55, when they all bailed early and left me sitting there with my batteries and alternator like an idiot. Worst experience ever. Their "customer service" is a joke, and they clearly don’t care about keeping people happy. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Last time I went, they didn’t even pay me what my scrap was worth. Don’t waste your time.
