I swear, if you’ve got nothing better to do with your day, this place will happily eat up every minute of it. The workers don’t speak English, so good luck getting anything done fast—it’s like they’re moving in slow motion just to mess with you. I bring the same scrap load every time, but somehow it takes them four or five times longer to process it than anywhere else. I’m done wasting my time here. It’s just corporate laziness with employees who don’t care. I’d rather drive 20 extra miles than deal with this nonsense again. ---

These people are straight-up scammers. The employees change prices on the spot like it’s some kind of game, and the whole company is a racket. Stay far away. The aluminum prices? Nowhere near market value. And that 1800 number? Just another way for them to hide. If corporations can’t police themselves, they’re all crooks—and this one’s no exception. ---

Absolute garbage. I went to the 19th Ave location because they advertised $175 a ton, but when I showed up before opening, they told me they were in a meeting and had no idea when they’d actually start. After waiting until 7 AM, they sent me to 35th Ave, saying the price was the same. Well, guess what? My ticket came back at $110 a ton. That’s a $65 difference for a seven-minute drive. They tried to bump me up to $125, but even then, I lost $100 just because they couldn’t get their act together. SA Metal Group, this is how you run a business? ---

If you’re scrapping steel, this is the place to go—they pay top dollar. The guy handling ferrous metals has been there forever, and he knows his stuff. He’s fast, helpful, and actually makes the process easy. No nonsense, just fair prices and someone who doesn’t waste your time. ---

Tried to lowball me on a radiator today—offered 20 cents a pound. But when I called the day before, they said if it was dirty, they’d pay 76 cents. That’s not just shady, that’s outright theft. Don’t bother with this place.
