Well they have been right on the with the way they treat folks and that goes a long way with the people around here they have always been fair and will go the extra mile to keep good business and when you do that then business will always be good if I have a choice to get my load across the scale then P&E is the place for me God bless
If you are open until 3:00, you need to be open until 3:00. If you close down at 2:55, you need to put 2:55 on there. Gal on the phone said as long as I get there by 3:00, guess what? Drove an hour with a big load, got there at 2:55, place is locked up. No good. I'll just keep going to nlr I guess.
Unless I just don't have a choice, this is the ONLY place I take my scrap to. They're friendly, have a clean yard (I'm not afraid of getting a flat driving thru), their scales have always be either right on or (on occasion or 2)in my favor–never under!, and their prices are generally the best across the board compared to elsewhere.
I never been to many scrap yards but I was impressed. The drive around the yard was clean. The machine operators great and the people were friendly.
The ppl at p&e are great. From the office lady all the way to the scrap cutters. All the ppl at p&e very nice and helpful
