Jorge made the whole process easy. Knew his stuff, answered my questions without making me feel stupid, and didn’t rush me out the door. Actually enjoyed chatting with him—rare for a scrap yard. ---

Don’t waste your time here. I showed up with 200–250 pounds of aluminum, and they hit me with $24. Even dirty aluminum shouldn’t be that low. No explanation, no transparency—just a number that’s straight-up robbery. If they’re paying *that* poorly, they’re either lying about weights or just screwing people over. I’m not going back, and you shouldn’t either. ---

J&C Recycling’s prices are a joke. A dollar a pound for crushed cans? 80 cents for uncrushed? That’s not just bad—it’s a scam. You’re getting lowballed, and they know it. Do yourself a favor and take your scrap somewhere that won’t treat you like an ATM.

I’ve been coming here for years—always got quick service and decent money for my scrap. But lately? Not so much. They tried telling me they pay the same for 12g copper wire as they do for Cat5e. Seriously? A quick Google search shows 12g has *three times* the copper. I called them out, and they at least had the decency to give my wire back when I refused to sell at that price. Still, I’d check elsewhere first if I were you. ---

Hands down the best prices in town for copper and brass. They stay open until 6 most days (except Sundays), and I’ve driven all over Phoenix just to sell here. Once, I even took the bus with a full load because their rates beat everyone else’s. If you’re serious about scrap, skip the rest and go straight here. ---
