Called and ask what copper wiring was going for and specifically asked with rubber coating..Was told $3.10 per lb. Lady wasn’t confused at all during the call but played “dumb” after I took it and was at the the pay window. LI would had stripped the wiring if she had been honest during phone call asking for prices. Literally cheated me out of a hundred dollars…From the reviews this is a common occurrence at this place.

Place is a scam. The scale guy looked at the pieces of 500 copper I had and marked me down as having wire harness. I understand taking a hit when the wiring is not stripped, but they will gouge the price to where its not even worth it, and you won't know until you already unloaded it all in the bin. Lady at the desk was nice, but not nice enough to warrant getting robbed. Do yourself a favor and take your scrap somewhere else.

Very Easy to access even with a dually with 20' dump trailer . Friendly employees willing to help even in the heat. Also needed a metal rod while i was there , they helped me determine exactly what i needed an was fair with the price… It wasnt the fastest trip to scrap yard i have ever had but it wasnt the slowest by FAR…
