The place is way out in the middle of nowhere, which is annoying enough, but the guy who took my cash looked like he was 16 and smelled like he’d been hitting a flask on his lunch break. He didn’t even ask for my name or contact info—just acted like I was wasting his time by making him check the metal. Then some other employee starts telling me he’s scared of the same drunk kid who wrote my check? What kind of operation is this? ---

These guys made it super quick and easy, and the staff was actually friendly, which is rare in this business. If you’ve got scrap to recycle, I’d say give them a shot. ---

First time selling scrap, and I just had an old water pipe to get rid of. The whole thing was over fast—no hassle, no waiting. The price seemed fair, and even though I didn’t weigh it beforehand, the single piece felt about right, so I’m guessing the tare weight was accurate. The first guy I talked to was a little weird, but everything else went smooth. Would go back if I had more to sell. ---

Then the payout guy behind the glass took forever to do the math on his calculator, like he’d never seen numbers before. The whole thing felt shady. I’ll take my next load somewhere else. Giving an extra star just for the workers, though—they didn’t deserve the headache.

Parking was a breeze, and I didn’t have to wait at all. Not sure if the prices are the best around, but since it’s right down the street from me, it’s not like I care. Saved me a trip, and that’s what matters. ---
