So I went to this place last week looking for a transmission part, and the guy working there let me borrow a tool to pull out this little square module from my Mazda. Took me forever—had to fight with three screws, one 10mm and one 8mm, and the thing was buried in there. I was sweating over it when this younger guy, Joe Hart, saw me struggling. Dude had that part out in five minutes flat. Then he hit me with something wild—he started talking to me in Sicilian. Turns out he knew my dialect, even though he said it was Greek. Made me feel like I was back home for a second. He also warned me the module might need reprogramming, told me it was a ForScan part, and even did the reprogramming for me a couple days later. I tried to pay him, but he wouldn’t take it at first. I insisted, though—no way he should work for free. Now, the part itself? Priced like it was solid gold. I mean, come on, it’s a junkyard—why charge street value? There was this tall guy in a beanie and blue jacket who kept barking at the staff like they were dogs. Saw him snap at a woman and a man who didn’t speak English, and Joe had to step in to help them. The way that beanie guy treated people was disgusting. I don’t know how many languages Joe speaks, but he’s clearly the only decent one there. Oh, and then I heard they fired someone for dropping a transmission? In a junkyard? That’s just stupid. I’ve been here four times, and I’m done. Bessler’s it is from now on.

First time here, and I was surprised how easy it was. Staff didn’t make me feel like an idiot for not knowing what I was doing—they just helped me find what I needed and gave me a fair deal. Won’t be looking elsewhere next time. ---

Needed a replacement mirror with a heated turn signal—figured I’d pay an arm and a leg for a new one. Jack’s had it, and for way less. Saved me a ton. Simple as that. ---

Honestly, Jack’s Auto blew us away—way better than we expected. We thought we’d be digging through piles for hours, but the second we walked in, they had the exact part we needed. Price was solid, no haggling, and the guys working there? Super friendly, no attitude, just straight-up helpful. If you’re hunting for car parts and don’t want to get ripped off, this is the place. We’re never going anywhere else. ---

Called about headlight assemblies, and the guy on the phone quoted me $50 each. I could’ve bought a *new* pair on Amazon for $70 total. Back when Brian ran the place, you could grab them for $10 if you pulled them yourself. Now? These new guys don’t even know what their own parts are worth. Want $200 for a whole car, then turn around and sell parts at retail? Doesn’t add up. ---

Chris is the kind of guy who makes you want to come back. No games, no upselling—just honest talk and respect. If more places had people like him, I’d actually *like* shopping for car parts. I’ll be back.
