I like the new layout—they’ve made it way easier to find parts and actually buy something without a hassle. But man, they killed Saturday hours, and now they close at 3:30 sharp. I showed up with a full load from FC, ready to unload, and the gate was already shut. It’s like they’re only open when nobody with a real job is around. ---

Drove all the way from Helena with a thousand pounds of clean aluminum, and they tried to lowball me at 15 cents a pound because of ten quarter-inch screws in the whole load. That’s a joke. I’m done with them—Clarksdale’s closer and pays better anyway. ---

If you’re looking for short iron in southeast Arkansas, this place has the best deal by far. The tin prices are usually on par with other yards, but the short iron? That’s where they win. It’s supposed to be a nickel thick at 36x18, and they’ll measure it—don’t try sneaking in something bigger thinking they won’t notice. You’ll either get tin price or take it back home. ---

The people at this yard are just plain nice. They’re friendly, never rude, and they pay better than most other places I’ve tried. Makes a difference when you’re hauling scrap all day.
